Playsuit: *. Belt: Vintage. Boots: Missguided* Trench Coat: Missguided*
Autumnal weather is definitely upon us and we all know I'm it's no1 cheerleader. The sun is shining, the leaves are falling and the weather is clear, crisp and bright. What more could we ask for?

I'm squeezing out my last few drops of summer in this dreamy playsuit from Lilylulu The daisy print is playful and the dropped back follows suit - I adore the deep-v neckline and that I can carry this piece through to A/W with tees or jumpers layered on top.

Everybody needs to own a mac *sang to the tune of Aristocats* and Missguided tick all the boxes with this fabulous Trench Coat. With a chunky collar, large lapels and a clinched in waist it's simply, perfectly perfect.

Floral Lace Crop: Topshop (Similar here). Leggings: Zara. Sandals: . Bag: Vintage

I picked up this Topshop lace blouse a few weeks back and it's the first time I've gone in to store for a long while and actually found a piece I'm like, properly in love with. It easily looks like something I could've nabbed from a vintage collection and everything about it just makes my heart sing. Sadly, everyone else loved it too and it's sold out now - but this one is pretty lovely too, right?

There's something a bit naughty about white/cream trousers isn't there? But you know what? I'm a blinking rebel and ruddy love these ones from Zara. I did spot them in the sale this week...so you might be able to still nab a pair in store!

Finishing up the outfit with a charity shop find handbag and potentially the chicest, comfiest I've ever witnessed the fitness of. are my friends, they always fulfill my summer feet needs and these newbies are no exception.

Happy Friday, you saucy sauce pots.

What I Wore | That Spring Feeling

Mom Jeans: Ark Clothing. Boots: Joules. Blouse: Little Mistress*. Headscarf: Becksondergaard*.
It’s spring, which means the fields that smell like sneezes are in bloom and naturally bloggers take full advantage.

Once again I’m embracing my country bumpkin wardrobe and have totally fallen back in love with my Ark mom jeans – teamed with Chelsea boots, a tucked up Little Mistress oversized blouse and loosely tied head scarf I think the brief is fulfilled and it’s pretty much all I’ve been wearing lately.

Silk headscarves are the perfect addition to spring/summer essentials and the light fabric means it won’t slip off at every given opportunity. Also, the heavy fabric of this textured top means it can be tied back easily without losing shape to create an oversized crop and I just love the individuality of the long sleeves.

Spring just reminds me how much I love living in the countryside. We really do live in a wonderful world.

What I Wore | Country Cream

Hat: Ark Clothing. Coat: Miss Patina*. Blouse: Poppy Lux*. Leggings: Zara. Belt: Vintage. Boots: Joules*.
One of my favourite shops in the world ever is Miss Patina – a UK based vintage inspired clothing brand. The amount of hours I’ve spent lusting after their pieces is ridiculous, and you’ve probably already spotted them in the likes of Topshop.

It’s a well known fact that I have a serious obsession with coats, so naturally this houndstooth camel number needed to be in my wardrobe. Fully lined, with a unique blend of cotton and wool and a moose brooch to match it’s literally perfection. It’s incredible quality and smartens up an outfit like no tomorrow. I’m absolutely in love.

I’ve also tried to inject lighter shades in to my wardrobe recently. Don’t worry – black and grey are still pretty much my favourites. But teamed with my Zara leggings, my Poppy Lux blouse helps to finish off this preppy look and the beaded collar paired with a vintage belt and maroon hat break up the cream shades so that I don’t look too much like a digestive biscuit.

What I Wore | The Basics

Waistcoat: Zara (similar here). T-shirt: & Other Stories. Leggings: Zara. Boots: & Other Stories (similar here). Bag: Nica Handbags*. Scarf: Kirsteen Stewart.  Hat: Topshop. Earrings: Love Hearts and Crosses*
When it comes to the weekend, my wardrobe always turns to comfort and of course, leggings and tees are the only way to fully fulfill that brief.
When I was in London a few weekends ago, I made my first ever trip to & Other Stories and it’s officially my new favourite shop – I can’t believe I waited so long to go and I think I might even love it more than Zara...which is saying something, y’know? I purchased these booties in their sale and with a whopping 70% off, they were reduced from £125 to just £37.50 – clearly it was meant to be. The t-shirt wasn’t in the sale and at £19, it’s a little pricey for a plain tee, but it is literally the softest, comfiest t-shirt I’ve ever owned – I'm pretty sure I need one in every colour...
My leggings are also a new purchase from Zara – they will always be my go-to store for leggings and these ones are pretty darn cosy. They’re really stretchy, which makes them roomy and the elasticised sides and zips to the front make them a little different...which also sort of remind me of jodhpurs...giddy up! ;)
I’m also very much in love with my origami fox earrings from Love Hearts and Crosses, they’re so pretty and unusual – and of course they’re foxes, so it was bound to be a match made in heaven.

I’m still head over heels with my waistcoat too and love how it manages to bring everything together and take the simplicity of the outfit up a few notches :). What's your weekend attire? Do you find yourself reaching for comfort too?

What I Wore | All Black, Everything

Hat: Ark Clothing (similar here). Skirt: Urban Outfitters (Similar here). High Neck Jumper: River Island. Boots: My Dress Room
Last weekend was a happy weekend. I traveled down to Surrey to see Zoe in her new pad - we are two peas in a pod, so are naturally both sloth like in nature. We spent the entire weekend relaxing, eating, sleeping and of course, a bit of blogging! It was so lovely to see her and before I headed off home I thought I’d seize the opportunity of taking a few outfit snaps in her beautiful area.

It made me realise that we've been in our home for 8 months now, which just seems crazy! Soon, we'll be thinking about finally buying it and with property sales on the rise it's something we're very keen to do! I'm quite lucky that Daniel is clued up on these things as it scares me a little, but renting before buying our home was definitely the right option for us. If you'd like to see a post with a little more detail on that, then do let me know :)

I did a bit of sale shopping recently (you can see my video featuring everything I bought ) and I picked up this skirt from Urban Outfitters - which can I just say I'm completely in love with? However, after posting my video I was shocked to learn that not many of you fashionistas stop by to check out their sales?! UO is renowned for being quite pricey, which I know can put people off - however their sales are THE BOMB. I don't know any other that competes if I'm honest and all of the items are incredible, mostly available in a variety of sizes and are SO affordable. For example, this skirt was £40 originally and I picked it up for £15, which I definitely don't mind paying. So, if you haven't already, make sure you add Urban Outfitters to your sale shopping list, because they kick the other high street brands butts.

That's all.

PS. I love black I.D.S.T

What I Wore | Light as a Feather

Feather Tee: Henri Castro*. Leggings: Zara. Waistcoat: Zara. Necklace: Kirsteen Stewart. Boots: Emu Australia.
Once in a while you will stumble upon a wondrous place on the internet. Today, that place is Henri Casto...who are they I may hear you ask? I’ll let them explain, as they say it so well!

Henri Castro is a one-stop-shop for the best new fashion finds. We feature hand-picked designs from the high street, independent labels and fantastic vintage and handmade pieces, as well as collaborating with up and coming artists on original pieces.
Join the movement today!

This feather tee is so beautiful and the feather itself makes me think of the one Dolores Umbridge uses to punish Harry Potter – you know which one I mean, right? Her laugh still completely freaks me out...ahem, I digress...This particular design was created by a dear friend of the lady behind the brand and should be online super soon. I’m wearing the unisex version as I prefer the baggy, casual fit – but there will be ladies sizes available too if you fancy something a little more snug :)

I’ve also got my hands on some lovely dresses from them, so make sure you stop by their website and and keep your eyes peeled for new items landing..the site hasn’t been live for long, so it’s still in early stages, but you’re bound to fall in love like I have, they’re really something special and a shop I’m so happy to share with you guys. I hope you love them as much as I do!
