Poncho: . Boots: . Leggings: Zara. Watch: Olivia Burton via . Necklace: .
Every couple of months I'll discover a new outfit. You know the one that you'll wake up wanting to wear every single day of the week? Effortless, easy, simple.

Hush are one of my favourites to go to for incredible quality basics. This has already been worn to death - and I know I'll be purchasing another before winter is up. It hangs like a dream - goes perfectly over any items of clothing, not to mention it's extremely cosy and warm. I love tucking my hair in to the roll neck too - it means I don't have to bother styling, which is always a winner!

My biker-esque leggings from Zara have had their fair share of wear since I purchased them earlier this year. A match made in heaven, these gorgeous with contrasting leather straps from DUO make the perfect combination for casual day wear.

Last up is the newest addition to my arm candy. An Olivia Burton dream from the . It's a slightly edgier, more masculine feel from the brands usual pretty illustrations but I absolutely love it. The dial is a nice chunky size making it a spot-on statement piece of jewellery and the black, thin strap means it goes with everything. Perfection.

Floral Lace Crop: Topshop (Similar here). Leggings: Zara. Sandals: . Bag: Vintage

I picked up this Topshop lace blouse a few weeks back and it's the first time I've gone in to store for a long while and actually found a piece I'm like, properly in love with. It easily looks like something I could've nabbed from a vintage collection and everything about it just makes my heart sing. Sadly, everyone else loved it too and it's sold out now - but this one is pretty lovely too, right?

There's something a bit naughty about white/cream trousers isn't there? But you know what? I'm a blinking rebel and ruddy love these ones from Zara. I did spot them in the sale this week...so you might be able to still nab a pair in store!

Finishing up the outfit with a charity shop find handbag and potentially the chicest, comfiest I've ever witnessed the fitness of. are my friends, they always fulfill my summer feet needs and these newbies are no exception.

Happy Friday, you saucy sauce pots.

Pyjama Party

Top and Trousers: Zara. Bag: George at ASDA. Shoes: Office
I walk in to Zara (more regularly than I should) and every single time there will be an outfit they've put together on the rails that I fall head over heels for. It just so happened that on this occasion I could actually justify treating myself to it and so, that's what I did.

There's something about the heavy fabric of the jumper that sits so well over the silky, loose fitted pants - that yes, look like pyjamas - and I simply love an outfit that you literally throw on and there's no need for anything else, no fuss, it just, does.

The knit jumper was on the pricey side, but is now in the sale HUZZAH! - the trousers however were under £30 which is pretty bloody awesome if you ask me.
I love the way they graze my ankles too...something I used to steer well clear of when I was at school, but an attribute I seek in trousers these days! Funny how these things change, eh?

What I Wore | A Winter Outfit

Crop Jumper: Hedonia*. Leggings: Zara (similar here) Coat: Zara. Boots: Hush Puppies. Bag: TK Maxx. Necklace: Ever Ours*
I filmed my first ‘outfit of the day’ video for a while last weekend. It was just a simple, winter outfit – something comfortable but warm and practical. I thought it might be quite nice to share it on here with you guys too! I’d really love to know what you think of it as it’s the first ‘OOTD’ video I’ve filmed myself, so if you have any constructive criticism it would be warmly welcomed :)

I’ve wanted to get my hands on a white jumper for quite a while, as they really help to break up my very black wardrobe - plus the go well with anything. And this cropped one from Hedonia, with the chunky gold zip detail and loose fit is exactly what I was after. It’s obviously a bit too cold to wear it alone (plus it’s quite see-through), so I just threw on a little strap top underneath from good old Primarni and voila. I love it.

I also feel like I can’t ever take off my Zara coat – I promise I do own other jackets but I intend on absolutely running this one in to the ground before wearing anything else again, ever.
And of course, we all know I have an obsession for both coats and boots. I’ve been naughty and purchased another pair of booties (I’m not sorry, not even one bit), which I’ll be sharing with you guys soon – BUT I do really want to get my hands on a jolly good black coat. Any suggestions of where I can find one? :)

Oh and here's the video...I hope you like it :D

The Coat of Dreams

Fur Waistcoat: Zara. Black Long Sleeved Top: H&M. Supersoft Leigh Jeans: Topshop (similar here). Black Boots: c/o Emu Australia. Navy Socks: Topshop. Belt: Vintage
A few months ago I discovered the coat of dreams. Well it’s not officially a coat, it’s a waistcoat - but potata potarta. Regardless of it's title, it was love at first sight and when my cousin told me about this little beauty I couldn’t wait to get home, google it and add it to my wishlist of things I won’t be able to justify.
However, if a piece of clothing sticks in my mind for more than a few days I know that it’s something I really, really want. So naturally, I saved my little tooshie off in order to purchase it.
It’s a pricey piece but it’s certainly a ‘I can throw this on and not have to worry about the rest of my outfit’ item, which is something that has heaps of value to me! I'm absolutely head over heels and love how different it is to any other piece I own.

When this horrible weather takes over England my main aim with my wardrobe is to be warm and comfortable. Teamed with my Topshop jeans, H&M basic and stupidly comfortable EMU boots I feel I could probably climb a mountain if necessary (maybe not, but you catch my drift). On that note..these boots are the most comfiest things to ever grace my feet. The soles are FUR, yup that’s right, a thick wedge of fur lines the bottom of these beauties making me feel like I’m walking on a cloud – they also have a slight heel which gives me that little extra height to take them from being completely casual to something you can dress up.

I’ve literally been living in this outfit and I don’t ever want to take it off. Not even to have a shower. (I know that’s gross, obviously I’m joking.... ;))

PS thank you to my lovely little sister for taking these snaps for me! We went on a walk around my village and discovered this awesome little lane, oh I do love the countryside :)

Another Outfit Post...

Do you guys get a bit bored of how I tend to wear black, all the time? I don’t know what it is, but I just feel so much better in it and feel that then when I do buy something a little bolder I cherish it a little more, you know? So of course this outfit is me wearing black, sorry to disappoint haha but there is a pop of colour – so it’s not all doom and gloom :)
Dress: Zara. Coat: Zara. Scarf: c/o Hannah Belle. Belt: Thrifted. Boots: c/o Zalando. Nails: Barry M Gelly Polish in blueberry. Lips: Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar. Earrings: c/o Temporary Secretary
I picked this Zara dress up in duty free at Heathrow before jetting off to Australia; I actually really really love it. It’s the silkiest, most luxurious fabric and the lace panels down the side take it from a standard slip dress to something so pretty. It doesn’t have much shape to the middle so I hoisted it in with my vintage bead belt (clearly wearing this to death) to add a little definition to my non-existent waist. You remember Hannah Belle? I thought this gorgeous scarf with hints of fuscia pink running through would go perfectly and it is SO soft and large, I can wear it just how I like – all rolled round into one big snood-like comfort blanket! Now obviously I had to have something to match the scarf and how frickin’ gorgeous are these boots from Zalando? Velvet is a dear friend of mine and when it comes in the form of pink boots I’m dribbling all over the place – it’s definitely love.
I figure it doesn’t really matter too much if you feel more comfortable in a plain colour, if you’re adding pops of prettiness here and there :)

That Zara Jacket | Outfit Post

So that Zara jacket. I discovered it a few weeks ago and tweeted a picture - the amount of replies I got saying it was their most favourite jacket in the world ever was ridiculous. This little baby is clearly going to be a popular one over the next few months.
Usually that would really annoy me – I don’t profess to have a fashion style that is overly ‘different’ but I also only dress in what I feel comfortable, which means you wont see me wearing converse, peplums or bodycons to fit in with that seasons must haves; and I like to think that makes me a teensy bit different to the average person. However I literally don’t care when it comes to this jacket. I frickin love it in fact, if I could marry it I definitely would and I know we’d live happily ever after. The amount of comments I’ve received about it since having it a totally of 3 days is mental and I almost don’t want to tell the people that don’t already know because I don’t want them to have it, yeah I’m selfish.

Zara Jacket, Top: Urban Outfitters, Belt: Thrifted, Leggings: Topshop. Boots: Urban Outfitters, Dog: Monty
Teamed with my dear old velvet leggings and sheer urban outfitters top I’m definitely letting the jacket do the talking. My thrifted (only got 20 dollars in my pockettttt) belt is my favourite ever – it’s falling apart but that makes me love it even more and I like the way it breaks up all the black I seem to have going on almost every day of my life.
My nanny’s dog Monty fancied making an appearance and apparently you can only be in the garden if you are going to throw his ball, obviously that wasn’t happening so he decided it appropriate to photo bomb ;)
So – who else is making the necessary purchase of this beauty?!
