Lost and Found | A Collaboration with Superlatively Rude

A motivational video about how we all feel lost sometimes and that it's okay not to be okay.
At some point in our lives, whether you are approaching your teens, rocking out your twenties or sailing through your thirties; we all feel a little bit lost.

The feeling that you don't have the answers to life's questions. The feeling that you don't know where you're going, or even where you've been. The feeling that you don't know how to move forward and repeatedly asking yourself the question 'how am I supposed to know what I want to do for the rest of my life anyway?'

It comes, it goes, always.

So today's video is about just that.

How it feels to be lost.

But that that's okay.

Playsuit: *. Belt: Vintage. Boots: Missguided* Trench Coat: Missguided*
Autumnal weather is definitely upon us and we all know I'm it's no1 cheerleader. The sun is shining, the leaves are falling and the weather is clear, crisp and bright. What more could we ask for?

I'm squeezing out my last few drops of summer in this dreamy playsuit from Lilylulu The daisy print is playful and the dropped back follows suit - I adore the deep-v neckline and that I can carry this piece through to A/W with tees or jumpers layered on top.

Everybody needs to own a mac *sang to the tune of Aristocats* and Missguided tick all the boxes with this fabulous Trench Coat. With a chunky collar, large lapels and a clinched in waist it's simply, perfectly perfect.

Let's Talk: Illamasqua Glamore Nude Collection

It's no secret they're a firm favourite in my beauty drawer, from their primers to foundations and eyeliners to blushers I've already got quite the collection. So when two new Illamasqua lipsticks came through my letterbox the excitement levels were preeeeetty high.

With 7 shades to choose from the Glamore Nude collection caters for every skin tone - whether you're sporting a cool, neutral or warm tone, there's something for everyone.

Now who's to say it's an easy task? Picking a lipstick that's the right shade for you can be tricky! Take a look at their for a little advice - a top tip from their head of training Daniel Busuttil, is matching the lipstick to your natural nail bed colour - who would've thought it?!

With a satin, creamy finish these new lipsticks step away from their usual matte formula and it's a change I'm certainly championing.
The two shades I'm lapping up are : a nude with a kick up the butt - warm and cool tones make for a rather wonderful shade that I personally love.

And  (best name?) offers a more rosy tone with hints of pink to suit a cooler skin tone aka. us pale folk.

At £18.50 it's not a cheap affair but it's one I aim to pursue, with instant pigmentation, an easy application and shades for every lady it would be a crime to not try.

Debenhams Sunflower Burst Bouquet

A review on Debenhams Flowers and their Sunflower Burst Bouquet

Sometimes there's nothing you can do but let someone know you are there for them, if they need you. Sometimes, we don't want to say it with words. Sometimes we don't need to show it with our presence.
Sometimes, flowers are the best thing.

Sending someone a bouquet is special. And I'm not necessarily talking romantically - it can be so wonderful to receive a bundle of from one of your best friends or loved ones. Just knowing that someone cares enough, to have gone out of their way to share the love in such a positive way.

Debenhams got in touch when I was feeling less than sparkly and asked if I'd like to receive a bouquet of my choice. Needless to say it made my day and as soon as they arrived at work that very next morning (big brownie points for fast  - Huzzah!) I had a permanent smile on my face. It wasn't a surprise, but it was almost like the world just knew - I needed a boost.

Not only can I vouch for wonderful service on receiving a bouquet from Debenhams, but I've also taken advantage of their  service to send bunches to the likes of Zoe and my mummy and they've never let me down.

So, if you have someone in your life right now that needs to be uplifted in one way or another - have a cheeky (33%) discount on me.

20 Things I Learned In My 20's | A Collaboration with Superlatively Rude

20 things I learned in my 20's a collaboration with Laura Jane Williams from Superlatively Rude

20 Things I Learned In My 20's

Superlatively Wonderful (see what we did there?): It's a collaboration, between Laura and I. One that was a long time coming.

I reached out on Twitter, to see what you guys would like to see from us... and it wasn't a surprise that the most sought after requests were ones about 'life'. After all, Laura is the one who pushed me to and totally grabbed life by the balls in .

What we learn in our 20's shapes the adults we'll become (or are becoming)

And here, in this video, we discuss what we've learned so far. Without giving too much away, this 2-part collaboration aims to spread a little love and joy. Point out that no-ones really got it sussed and that good things take time and effort (in a lighthearted way, of course).
This has probably been my favourite video to create to date, so I'd love to know what you guys think :-)

Keep your eyes peeled for next week's video - make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss out!
I know...Laura needs to get herself a YouTube channel, right?
