Dress, Boots, Coat - All Missguided. Necklace: .
Did you catch my with Missguided at the beginning of December? Where I whittled on about how at this time of year, you’re either a proper party animal or a bed-at-9pm grandma?

I quite enjoyed getting myself spruced up to Go Hard. But today? It’s time to Go Home.

I have to admit I'm way more of a home bird - PJs would be my entire wardrobe if it didn't make me look completely moronic - so when it comes to actually having to get dressed and face the world, comfy is always going to take top priority. Sorry heels, but we're just not meant to be.

Keeping it festive with the softest, cosiest red coat (and pockets big enough to give Paddington bear envy) - it's the sort of cosy where you just want to stroke yourself repeatedly. Which I'm absolutely fine with, by the way.

Paired with these boots. Out of all the pairs I own, they have to be up there with the best value for money. At under £40 they look double the price and the fabric wears really well - no scuffing or going out of shape. And the heel is also the perfect size to be able to wear them day to night.

And finally, the dress. Swing dresses are a staple, but this one absolutely kills it. The fabric is thin and soft as a babies bum. It keeps me super toasty and has just the right amount of stretchiness to not feel restricting on the neck - no-one wants a tight turtle neck, guys.

Basically, I'll pretty much be wearing this outfit every day until Summer.

So - what about you? Do you Go Hard, or Go Home?

Ooh, also, there are lots of other colours of the coat, available here in the SALE!

The Greedy Book - My First Online Wish List

A blog review of The Greedy Book Wish List Site. Where you can select your favourite items online and save them for purchasing later!
A blog review of The Greedy Book Wish List Site. Where you can select your favourite items online and save them for purchasing later!
Tesco Hudl2
Every Christmas my family will ask me what gifts I’d like, and every year I say ‘I have no idea’. I’m of an age where anything I need, I tend to save for and buy it myself – so when birthday’s and Christmases roll around I’m always a bit stuck.

I hate having things bought for me for the sake of it and throughout the year I’ll find things I really love, but don’t necessarily need and will just end up forgetting about them.

So when contacted me to tell me about their new online wish list system I was intrigued.

It’s one of the more advanced, varied wish list sites I’ve used; and by simply copying and pasting a link in to their site or installing a widget on your toolbar you can drop items in to your categorised wish lists at the click of a button (it'll walk you through that, on the 'Add Item' section, once you've ). It is MEGA.

So any time I’m coveting a new coat or pair of shoes, I can simply hit my Greedy Book bookmark and it’ll automatically save it to my chosen list. It gives you the opportunity to enter the price along with a description, (i.e your shoe size) and the option to favourite your most coveted pieces; so if anyone wants to access your list, it will still be a surprise if they decide to buy it for you. Each link saves an image so you can clearly see what it is and with a clean, compact design the website itself is as easy as pie to navigate. There's also a section to search for people you know are using it and The Greedy Book team have created their own 'Discover' tab that is updated with their latest favourite things, y'know incase you're needing some inspiration! And you're also able to share your book on your social media platforms, too - WHOOP.

All in all it's just pretty darn awesome. I mean - the hints in the company name: AMAZING.

There are no limitations to what sites you can link from, so in the Greedy Books eyes, your wish is their command! (I mean, they wont pay for it, but hopefully someone will, right? ;))

Oh, and if you fancy being a bit nosy, you can check out my first greedy book here! I also asked for a money tree this Christmas, so that I could buy everything on my first book...fingers crossed.

*This isn't a sponsored post btw, I just really, really love the concept and wanted to share it.

You Don't Have to be Broken to be Interesting | Superlatively Wonderful

That's what she said.

It's easier said than done, to wake up, put a smile on your face and pretend there are no broken hearts or sheltered tears.

But it's possible.

and I, we get a bit preachy filming our videos and we really enjoy it. Talking with her, to you, is one of the highlights of starting my YouTube channel. I feel so at home chatting away about the things we find important, that so many just don't seem to be able to say out loud.

It's nothing new, what we talk about isn't going to completely knock your socks off. It's simply Superlatively Wonderful - two very good friends talking about what we try to do when life throws us lemons.

And god knows, we've had enough lemons to put Schweppes out of business.

Every Cloud.

Here's the thing - I wear my heart on my sleeve and covering my emotions isn't something I'm too great at.

Some people share things on the internet, I'm one of them. It's not for attention, or acceptance or to please others - it's basically just my therapy. It makes me feel better to write it all down and have people, strangers, come back and say 'ME TOO! That's how I feel and this is how I dealt with it'. A sense of understanding from people that aren't biased, be it the good times or bad.

So.

7 years with one person is a really long time; and going through a breakup is like trying to complete an impossible puzzle. And that's where I am right now. My head? Is royally screwed.

I don't want to talk about that in detail. But what I do want to say is it's crap. Writing my weekly blog posts wearing a shiny smile, when really I'd rather punch someones face.
So instead I'm going to take the opportunity and say...

It's been a shoddy few weeks.

But actually I'm really grateful for all the wonderful people in my life and the fact that writing this blog brings little glimmers of hope every week. Be it comments or emails from you, incredible friendships that have blossomed through the interwebs, or surprise parcels like this stupidly amazing Hudl2 tablet from Tesco that landed on my desk Friday morning. I'm so, so ridiculously lucky.

Reading the fabulous
There are no profound statements in this post. It's simple and to the point. Tonight, I'm going to catch up with my favourite blogs, on my shiny new tablet, because I haven't allowed myself to sit down for more than 5 minutes since I moved back to my parents 2 weeks ago.

I'll probably have a cry. But I'll also feel so grateful that I have all of this, at my fingertips.

Thank you to Tesco for this incredible pick me up. Material items certainly don't make problems go away, but this is such a nifty piece of kit and being able to take a lightweight, easy to use, beautiful item of technology on the go with me is pretty awesome.

And thank you to anyone that stops by, because whether you think blogging is pretentious or awesome it's days like these that I give myself a shake and take a look at what I've achieved.

Thankful. Is what I am.

P.S. The Hudl2 was simply sent for review purposes and is seriously amazing, read more about it here and pick up a bargain in time for Christmas

Oasis Christmas Party Inspiration

Sparkle Kimono Jumpsuit, Leather Clutch Cross Body Bag, Jade Print 2 Part Sandals, Felt Floppy Hat - ALL OASIS. : Muru Jewellery.

So many people are saying they don’t feel festive this year, but I’m quite the opposite. I’ve had the Christmas tunes blasting for the last week, popped the Christmas tree up on the weekend and spend my evenings curled up in front of the fire, guys, it is bliss. But finding a Christmas Party outfit? Now that can be tricky.

There are so many shops that go crazy for Christmas and sometimes, you just don’t even know where to begin.

But it’s safe to say that Oasis have it bang on. They’ve given just the right amount of sparkle on all their party wear this season, whether you want to be stand out Sally or silently sophisticated Susan they’ll cater for it all. And this jumpsuit, I think, falls somewhere in-between the two.

By far the chicest, comfiest, easiest to wear Christmas piece I’ve ever owned: the fabric drapes beautifully and is just stretchy enough to be forgiving after a huge Christmas dinner.

Basically once I’ve finished dancing, I’ll just curl up in the corner because this bad boy works just as well as a onesie when it’s bedtime.

Oasis were also lovely enough to feature my look on their blog, which you can !

Merry Christmas, you beautiful lot.

I'm trying this new thing where I buy complete 'outfits' rather than one off pieces of clothing that I never end up wearing. In my latest I purchase an entire outfit from ASOS with the hope that I'd be able to transition the pieces over to existing items in my wardrobe (and that's exactly what I've done with this backpack and boots).

With that in mind, I was casually stalking Olive Clothings instagram feed and spotted this combination. Next week, it was in my wardrobe.

I love this  more than words can express. The thickest, cosiest fabric that looks perfect under this adorable , or over a pair of black jeans. It also has secret pockets which I discovered once I'd received it: joy = trebled. Olive Clothing are fast becoming my favourite store - simplistic, sophisticated, high quality basics is what you can expect from them and boy do they have some beauties.

Arm candy comes in the prettiest form with Daniel Wellington - this classic St Andrews watch from their collection is elegant to say the least. I love the simple design and the beautiful rose gold detailing.
We've got a little treat for you too - being Christmas and all Daniel Wellington are offering you loves a whopping 15% off a watch of your choice until December 31st using the code 'holidaywonderfulyou' at checkout - Enjoy!

Playsuit & Shoes: Missguided*, Necklace: *

There's one of two ways to go when it comes to Christmas time.

Go Hard.

Or Go Home.

Usually, you'll either be itching to get your glad rags on, ready to hit the dance floor, or you'll be reaching for your cosiest outfit to get snug by the fire with a good book after popping out for a civilised meal.

Missguided set me the challenge of putting together two outfits. One to suit both occasions. I have to admit that I'm definitely a home bird, I like being comfy and more often than not I'll be under the 'Go Home' category, that's if I even make it out ;) But that being said, every lady has a burst of party animal inside her. And so today?

We're going hard.

This Rose Brocade Plunge Playsuit from their party shop section couldn't be more Christmassy if it tried. With metallic red detailing framing the roses, catching the light with every step it's got festive written all over it.
You'll also notice a rather deep neckline (wahey!) but this piece is cut so beautifully that there's no chance of any unwanted, umm, fallout. And of course, it would look pretty fabulous with a little bralet underneath if you are feeling a bit worried. (Nab it quick before it sells out)
Paired with some pretty sexy heels that are the perfect addition to your wardrobe - livening up any outfit from dresses to jeans, it's safe to say they'll do all the talking. Y'know, cause I'll be too busy dancing my arse off.

Keep your eyes peeled for my Go Home post, coming soon!

A blog post including all the information for entering Jack Wills daily Christmas Giveaway #JWBrowniePoints

#outout - potentially the best hashtag to ever grace the internet? I think so.

It's my own personalised Xmas card from the one and only Jack Wills - the house of English fashion.

And why am I sharing it with you? Well, because today kick starts the beginning of their daily #JWBrowniePoints Christmas competition.

So how does it work?

Any time you share one of the cards on your own social platform using the hashtag #JWBrowniePoints, you (and whichever friend you choose to tag) will be entered in to the competition with a chance to win an item from the Jack Wills website. Be it onesies, coats or accessories - there'll be something for everyone!

Here's a few examples:

Day 1 on Facebook: Tag someone in the comments section below you’d love to share this Xmas card with for your chance to win daily prizes.

Day 2 on Instagram: Share one of the Xmas cards with your followers, tagging someone you'd love to share this Xmas card with & use the #JWBrowniePoints hashtag to make sure your entry is submitted!
