Being Breakfast Healthy with #AlproTops

Since first becoming an Alpro ambassador I haven’t looked back – hand on heart their yoghurts are my absolute favourites and when they got in touch about trying out their new campaign #AlproTops, I couldn’t really say no.

The challenge is to create your own healthy breakfasts over a 5 day period, using a variety of toppings along with your Alpro yoghurt of choice. They kindly sent me a gorgeous little hamper, filled to the brim with various flavours of yoghurt and toppings to match. I wanted to share my favourite breakfast boost I put together – I’ve been eating it every day since!
Jordan’s super berry granola is the most filling I’ve ever tried - with clusters of wholegrain oats and heaps of healthy dried berries, it’s certainly one of the most tastiest too. Instead of using milk, I poor around half a tub of Alpro’s Simply Plain yoghurt on top of the granola, top it with 5 freshly cut strawberries and a handful of Alpro’s goji berries and chia seeds. The Simply Plain yoghurt isn’t exactly plain, it’s really quite sweet, but makes for the perfect breakfast mix. Usually I’ll opt for natural greek yoghurt but I find this one to be a lot smoother, lighter and fresh and when I ran out and went back to my standard I was shocked at how much I preferred Alrpo’s! The toppings help to balance out the freshness of the strawberries and a slightly on the sour side, which compliments the yoghurt beautifully.
I’m always so lazy with my breakfasts, but this has helped me look forward to it – not only does is it pleasing on the eye, but it tastes amazing too and most importantly keeps me full until lunchtime.

If you want to find more recipes/inpsiration, then have a look on the Alpro website or follow the campaign on Twitter. They are also hosting a giveaway where you can win some of your favourite AlproTops, so go have a nose there too!! Who doesn't love some free food, right? ;)

What do you think? Are you a healthy breakfast eater?

I have Alpro soya milk on everything, but in the mornings I'm more of a toast kind of girl. Xx

I feel like summer is the best time to try to eat more healthily, it helps with achieving that summer body and just looks so pretty in the sun (says the instagram lover in me) I see strawberries and I'm sold, will definitely be trying this :) X

As a lactose intolerant I'm so glad that soya products are becoming more mainstream. This looks delicious!

This looks like my kind of breakfast :) I enjoy experimenting with breakfast more than any other meal of the day! It perks me up and puts me in a better mood, plus I often feel healthier. I'm going to have to try the granola mentioned and I'ma huge fan of yoghurts. I made my first fruit smoothie last week and it's now going to be very much part of my routine! A dollop of yoghurt stops breakfast from being bland :) Love this!

I'm trying to become a more healthy breakfaster by having granola and yogurt for breakfast but at the moment I'm being rather unadventurous. Maybe next time I go to buy yogurt I'll pick these ones up :)
