So, they're my staple moisturising products, that pretty much never change!
Have you tried Palmer's? Or do you know of an affordable range I should be testing out? :)
LOVE palmers, i picked up the lip balm is asda the other day for £1 Bargainous x
ReplyI have used Palmers for eons, although sometimes I will use their unfragranced line because the cocoa can be a tad overpowering. But it is cheap as chips compared to other brands and does a top job. Have to admit to being a teeny bit lazy and not moisturising on a daily basis.
ReplyLove Palmer's though I have to say I'm lazy when it comes to body moisturising, it usually only happens a couple of times a week, rather than every night like it should!
I really want to try their facial range of moisturisers as well. Have you tried these?

We adore the Palmer's Cocoa Butter range in the P&B office, though we haven't tried the bronzing lotion. Your post has definitely triggered a temptation to go to Boots after work!
ReplyI love the moisturiser, just stopped buying it because the pump always stopped working. Thanks for the pump tip!

Great post :) I used to love these because of the smell, however I don't use them anymore because they contain mineral oil.. oh and also, £5 is not exactly cheap nor the cheapest price.. the 400ml is £3.69 in most afro hair care shops :) just letting u know xx

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous review to read.
ReplyI personally have used all 3 of these products at some point in my life and I love them all, and totally agree with everything you've said.
I grew up with both my mum AND my dad moistursing after showering/bathing, yet I still find the whole process a real chore, especially now the colder months are setting in! I have to do it straight away or it just wont get done!
I have to say that the gradual tanner is the best one I've used, and I am an experienced false tan user! So I too recommend that product to everyone! :D
Thanks again for such a great post chick xx

Awe Hannah what a lovely comment. I know what you mean about it being a bit of a chore, but my body always feels so much better for it! xx
I only ever really moisturise my face, but these sound amazing! And i love cocoa butter :) xx
ReplyThey really are Alice - you should give them a go :) xxx
I love Palmer's Cocoa Butter! It smells amazing and you're right, it's much better than most other things I've tried. I actually haven't bought any in ages, as being a typical beauty blogger, I'm always trying new ones. I recently picked up the Garnier 7 day one, which is normally not the sort of thing I'dconsider at all - I like moisturisers with delicious scents, in pump bottles or butter form, but this one is just a plain old boring scent and a squeezy bottle. I must admit though, I'm really impressed with it so far!

Ooh - sometimes less is more though Mel!! I've never thought of using Garnier, but I might give it a nose :) think Palmer's will always be my go to though x
I've used cocoa butter for so many years now, the smell is heavenly to me, although I know a few people who find it too sickly! It's seriously amazing stuff, the perfect formula, I can't stand it when moisturisers don't sink in properly! I used this today for the first time in ageeees as I found I had a random bottle, I used to buy so much of the stuff! & I can still smell the beautiful scent, hours after I've applied it & my skin is so smooth (: love love love! (:
