Today’s outfit post has a slightly different twist to my usual. I’ve been tasked by the fabulous Pago (you know, the ones who make the yummy fruit juices?) to create an on trend SS14 look, using one of their flavours as inspiration! Pretty cool right? And also share with you their latest competition: the opportunity to get your hands on a Cambridge Satchel...needless to say I’ve been super excited to post this, so I really hope you like it :D
I’ve found the SS14 trends to be actually pretty wearable this year. I look at the catwalk and can easily envisage throwing similar outfits together and not feeling completely ridiculous, which makes a change, doesn’t it?
With that in mind, I decided on Pago’s classic Peach Nectar juice for my colour theme – relating it back to the famous pastel shades that will continue to be super popular this Spring.
For the look I opted for a ‘Long skirt and flat shoes’ trend - usually when we think of midi skirts we would automatically reach for our kitten heels, but not this season...which is something I’m very happy about. It’s a tricky look to rock, but it’s worth a shot and I love the feminine, preppy style it achieves. My skirt is from Zara, a purchase I made a couple of years ago and the quality is bloomin’ awesome. My brogues are from the Marky ASOS range, the belt is an old vintage find, the satchel is from LYDC and my silk blouse is a vintage piece from Cow. Bearing in mind that none of these pieces of clothing are new, I’ve dragged them all out of my existing wardrobe – which just shows that fashion trends always come back around.
I also wanted to go for something a little bit different with the photo’s....I thought the outfit would suit a more ethereal background and with a helping hand from a very fabulous man these images were born – what do you think? (Thank you SO much Scott!!)

Now on to the exciting bit and where you guys come in...Do you fancy having a go at creating your own outfit inspired by a Pago flavour? There are over 40 flavours available, from Cloudy Cherry, Pink Grapefruit to my choice - Peach Nectar.
Simply take inspiration from Pago and the best looks from #LFW SS/14 to enter this pretty awesome competition.
For your chance to win your very own Cambridge Satchel, simply pick a flavour, create your look and upload your image to the before noon on the 28th February 2014. Simples. Wishing you loads of luck guys, I know that you can rock it!
(Full terms and conditions on the : style and colour TBC and open to UK residents only)
This little challenge is being carried out by me, Becca, Catherine, Rhiannon and Sarah – and once Pago have narrowed it down to the final 10, we’ll be helping to choose a winner...woohoo! So make sure you let me know if you enter :)
