Beauty posts are few and far between here on Wonderful You, but when one rears it’s splendid head you know it’s going to be a goodie.
And
This
Perfume
Oh
My
…Guys, I can’t even.
Yves Saint Laurent have absolutely knocked it out the park with this bad boy. Now I’m not here to fill your screen with a load of beauty jargon. Truth is I don’t know a fraction of what some of you lot do, but what I do know?
This perfume is sex and chocolate and sweets and all the other good things in the world in one beautiful bottle.
Said to bring out the mysterious side of the brand, it's filled to the brim with coffee, vanilla, pink pepper, patchouli and jasmine scents. Black Opium has that musky, warm and spicy scent that oozes sexiness. Not to mention the packaging...edgy and glittery it's a beauty to behold and the solid structure means I can just throw it in to my handbag without worrying it might smash.
I know we’re stepping in to Spring, but I prefer a darker, richer scent all year round. You can't really beat the feeling of spraying on a scent that essentially makes you want to eat yourself immediately...and if it makes you feel good, chances are it's going to make other people want to give you a sniff too.
Being a high-end brand, YSL aren't ever going to be the cheapest and retailing at £45 for a 30ml eau de parfum it's going to cost you a pretty penny. BUT all is not lost ladies, as the good eggs over at Fragrance Direct are offering it at a hell of a reduced price of £38.99
I've worn it every day since it arrived and am simply head over heels.
Have you given it a whirl yet? What did you think?
I've read so many reviews of this fragrance and everyone seems to love it!

That's my winter perfume, but I'm still using it because I love it so much ♥ and it's funny because Sammi from Beautycrush also described the perfume as sex in a bottle/a very sensual fragrance, if I remember well :P and I must agree, this smell is just divine! And the bottle is so pretty. Well done Saint Laurent!

I absolutely LOVE this fragrance! I haven't bought it yet but the amount of times I've walked past it in Debenhams and given myself a cheeky spritz is insane. It's definitely on my list of things that needs to be bought when I actually have money again.. xo
